George Francis (Frank) Phillips

Son of Major John Henley Shawe Phillips and Mrs Charlotte Marie Phillips née Taylor

of Longfield, 35 Broom Road, Teddington

Born about 1899 at Southsea, Hampshire, England

Enlisted at Whitehall whilst living at Teddington

Private (37431), 21st London Regiment and subsequently transferred as Private (76893)

with the Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) and posted to 3rd London Regiment

Died of wounds received in France at University War Hospital, Southampton on 7th October 1918, aged 19.

Buried on 12th October 1918 at Teddington Cemetery (Plot Fc Grave A.104)
