St Michael & St George, Wilcox Road

Road: Wilcox Road

Property: St Michael & St George Church

This is a Grade II listed building, built in 1913 by J.S. Adkins. In style it stands on the cusp between the Gothic Revival manner associated with the later 19C, and the Perpendicular manner often favoured for suburban churches at the end of C19 and early C20 and often influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement.

There is a detailed description of the interior and exterior of this church on the following link: http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-507543-church-of-st-michael-and-st-george-great

The church was closed and not in regular use and formed part of the parish of St. Peter & St. Paul, Teddington. In 2015 it reopened as St Michael's, Fulwell.
