The 1973 TeddSoc Survey states: "Red Lion Public House (attached to no. 166), semi-detached, 2-storey in red brick, part colour-washed, yellow stone facings, tiled roof. Sash windows with pediment over. Gables on both Stanley Road & Victor Road facades. Square bay on ground floor in Victor Road. Garage & outbuildings in Victor Road."
