Tom Barford Pyke

Son of Henry Thomas Pyke and Ada Annie Pyke née Edmunds of 1 St Mark's Road, Teddington

Born about June 1899 at Forest Gate, Essex (now in the London Borough of Newham)

Educated at Hampton Grammar School

Private (89431) with the Middlesex Regiment, 2nd Battn.

Captured and became a prisoner of war in German hands on 24th April 1918

Died of dysentery and starvation on 4th November 1918, aged 20

Buried at Sarralbe Military Cemetery, Lorraine, France (Plot: Morhange German Cemetery Memorial 3)
