Road: Park Road, Teddington

Property: 26, "Norfolk Lodge"

Norfolk Lodge and former Stable Block.

Grade II listed in 1982.

Along with nos. 22 and 24 Park Road, Norfolk Lodge and its former stable block (or coach house) form a group of listed houses of similar age, being 18th century. There had been two cottages on the site before the house was built. Lying to the rear of no. 24 Park Road, rather hidden away, the main building has been much extended. The stable/coach house building – now The Little House – appears to have been separated off from the main building in the 1980s – planning permission was granted in 1983 for its use a separate dwelling.

The listing description is very limited:

"C18. 2-storeys and attic. Four windows wide. Front rendered. Slate roof with 2 dormers. Later extensions at each end."
