Hetty Rutton Murdock née Drake

Daughter of Rev.John Alexander Drake and Louisa Creery Drake née Furley

Spouse of John Murdock

Born about April 1868 at Brockley, Suffolk

Lived at Bolton Gardens, Teddington (1909-1935)

and 13 Charles Road, St Leonards, East Sussex

Killed 11th March 1943 at Springfield Road, St Leonards, East Sussex

when enemy aircraft strafed the town with machine gun fire and dropped

high explosive bombs which killed 37 people and injured 90 others.

Buried 18th March 1943, aged 74 Years

at Teddington Cemetery (Plot O Grave 1219)
