Enlisted at Tidworth, Hampshire as Private (22729), Reserve Cavalry Regiment

Transferred as Private (13852) with the Dorsetshire Regiment, 3rd Battn.

Killed in action in the Balkans on 7th December 1915, aged 21

Listed on the Doiran Memorial, Doirani, Central Macedonia, Greece
