to Jessie Catherine Beckley Rogers (1865–1923)

of Brackendale, Strawberry Hill and buried in Teddington Cemetery

Born 20th February 1866 at Mitcham Hall, Surrey

Educated at Eton College and Trinity College, Cambridge

A barrister who practised on the South-Eastern Circuit

He enlisted on 9th October 1914 with the Sportsman’s Battn.

2nd Lieutenant with the London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers), 3rd Bttn.

Killed in action 25th September 1915 during Battle of Loos in France
