Brother of Albert Henry Coward of Church Road, Teddington who served with the Royal Engineers
Born 28th October 1883 at Pimlico, Middlesex, England
Enlisted in the Royal Navy as Ordinary Seaman on 28th October 1901 and discharged in May 1902
Enlisted in the British Army at Kingston-on-Thames whilst living at 101 Church Road, Teddington
Private (7675) with the Oxfordshire & Bucks Light Infantry, 2nd Battn.
Killed in action on 30th July 1916 near Ginchy, France, aged 32
He has no known grave.
Listed on the Thiepval Memorial, Departement de la Somme, Picardie, France (Pier and Face 10A and 10D)
