Harry Broderick Chinnery

Son of Walter Moresby Chinnery (1843-1905) of High Street, Teddington and Rose Hill, Hampton

and Mary Chinnery née Dixon (1851-1880) (Buried in St Mary’s Churchyard, Teddington)

Born 6th February 1876 at Teddington

Baptised 2nd June 1876 at St Mary’s Church, Teddington

Educated at Eton College

Member of the London Stock Exchange and partner in his father's firm Chinnery Bros.

Lieutenant with the King's Royal Rifle Corps, 13th Battalion

Served in France from July to November 1915, then admitted to hospital in Rouen with eczema

and returned to England. He was passed fit to rejoin his Battalion on 30th March 1916 and

was killed in action in France on 28th May 1916, aged 40 years

Buried at Berles-Au-Bois Churchyard Extension
