Edwin Charles Cawthorn

Born about October 1873 at Peckham, South London.

Husband of Laura Eliza Cawthorn née Gribble

Enlisted at London age 42, whilst living at 18 Bolton Gardens, Teddington.

Temporary Staff Sergeant-Major (SS/19215) with the Royal Army Service Corps.

Drowned in the Adriatic Sea after the SS."Citta di Palermo" was sunk by a mine on 8th January 1916.

No known grave but the sea.
