Albert Edward Bates

Son of Albert E. Bates and Mrs Rose Bates née Wilkins of 35 Sunnyside Road, Teddington

Born 11th December 1899 at Teddington

Baptised 12th December 1899 at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Teddington

Enlisted at Whitehall, whilst living in Teddington;

Private (496237) with London Regiment, 13th Battn., (County of London) (Princess Louise’s Kensington Battn)

Died of wounds in France on 30th August 1918, aged 18

Buried at Bac-Du-Sud British Cemetery, Bailleulval
