Henry Peter Allanson

Son of Henry Allanson and Mary Frances Allanson née Spence of Hampton Wick

(Both buried in Teddington Cemetery, Middlesex, Plot Eu Grave 307)

Born 11th May 1887 at Hampton Wick, Middlesex

Educated at the prestigious Catholic Public School, Ampleforth College in Yorkshire.

Merchants Clerk of Ryecroft, Seymour Road, Hampton Wick

Enlisted as Private (2015) with the 28th Battalion, London Regiment.

Second Lieutenant with the Suffolk Regiment, 1st Battn. (attached to 2nd Battn)

Reported as ‘missing’ and then as killed in action in France on 20th July 1916, aged 29 years
