Son of Thomas Woodfield and Alice Susannah Woodfield née Cope of Hanworth Road, Hampton

Born about June 1882 at Battersea, Surrey

Manager of a market nursery of 10 School Road Avenue, Hampton Hill in 1911

Married Ellen J. Edwards at Teddington on 12th October 1911

Lived at 45 Royal Road, Teddington

Enlisted at Teddington, whilst living at Bexley Heath, Kent.

Private (S/43170) with the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, 11th Battn.

Died of pneumonia at the 10th Canadian Stationary Hospital, Calais, France on 30th June 1918

Buried at Les Baraques Military Cemetery, Bleriot-Plage, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France (Plot: IV. B. 10).
