This page is part of the Directory of Buildings of Townscape Merit (BTMs) and Listed Buildings in Teddington assembled by the Planning and History Groups of The Teddington Society. You can view The Causeway on Google Maps.
The Causeway was laid out after the bridge over the railway was formed. No houses are shown in the 1863 Ordnance Survey map. At one time the North side was called The Causeway and the South side Wolsey Road. By the 1871 census there were some occupiers listed. It is a short road joining Broad Street with Park Road and has mostly secondary shops with offices and flats above.
