of 56 Richmond Road, Staines, Middlesex
Born about September 1899 at Staines, Middlesex
Enlisted at Teddington on 9th November 1914
(aged only 15 but claimed to be aged 19)
Private (214340), Durham Light Infantry, 12th Battalion
Killed in action on 8th July 1916, aged 16 years
Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Departement de la Somme, Picardie, France
