Son of Thomas Charles Ridgway and Elizabeth Mary A. Ridgway née Brice

of Fairfield South, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey

Born 27th June 1887 at Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey

Window cleaner of 12 Avenue Road, Kingston Upon Thames

Married Ethel Sarah Harwood on 29th August 1910 at St Peter's Church, Norbiton

(She later married Charles Henry McMellor and lived at 15 Waldegrave Road, Teddington)

Enlisted at Teddington as Gunner (176927) in the Royal Horse Artillery, 16th Bde. Ammunition Col.

Died of wounds received in action in France on 26th March 1918, aged 32

Buried at Saint Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, Haute-Normandie, France (Grave Reference: P. VI. M. 4B). (See: Find A Grave Memorial# 56264988)
