Nos. 15 (and 17 Ferry Road - see separate page). These were originally a terrace of 3 cottages, 2-storey, brick, sash windows with brick arches, slate roof. No. 19, the third of this terrace was demolished in 1974 after becoming derelict and the site is now the entrance to the development, Quay West, a block of flats with a river frontage the other side of the Boat House. When the manorial estate was sold, James A. Messenger who ran a boatbuilding business in the Boat House bought that land and that on which the cottages stood.
