Born about December 1888 at Kings Cross, London

Clerk in the printing business at High Street, Islington, Middlesex

Enlisted at Teddington on 1st September 1914

Private (G/2704), Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment), 12th Battn.

Killed in action on 1st July 1916 during the 'Battle of the Somme', aged 27 years.

Listed on the Thiepval Memorial, Departement de la Somme, Picardie, France (Pier and Face 12D and 13B)
