Son of Thomas Charles Henry Tibbey

and Amelia Sophia Tibbey née Grover

of 72 Rosebank Road, Hanwell, Middlesex

Born abt July 1899 at St Pancras, Middlesex

Private in the British Army, Served in South Africa, March-Oct 1906; North China Oct 1906-Nov 1908;

Singapore Nov 1908-Dec 1910; East Indies Dec 1910-Nov 1912; and Home service Nov 1912-Aug 1914.

Employed as a postman based at the Teddington Post Office

and living at 42 Watts Lane, Teddington in 1914

Enlisted again as Private (L/10256) with the

Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex) Regiment, 4th Battn.

Served with the British Expeditionary Force Aug 1914-Oct 1914

Died between 16th-21st October 1914 in France or Flanders

Probate on 23rd June 1915 at London

Granted to Blanche Judith Wallis, Spinster
