William James Fincher

Son of William Thomas Fincher and Eleanor Fincher née Lowe of 12 Gomer Gardens, Teddington

Born about 1887 at Westminster, London.

Married Julia O’Connell in London about December 1915

Enlisted at Davies Street, Westminster, London

Private (5558) with 9th Battn., London Regiment

Private (614316) with 19th (County of London) Battn. (St Pancras), London Regiment.

Killed in action during the Gallipoli campaign on 22nd March 1918, aged 31

Buried at Jerusalem War Cemetery, Palestine (Grave Ref. N. 8)
