Victor Thomas Burberry

Son of Richard John Burberry and Ann Maria Burberry née Cooper of 66 Victor Road, Teddington

Born 13th July 1891 at Teddington

Lived at 66 Victor Road, Teddington between 1891-1910

Private with the Royal Berkshire Regiment at Guston (Dover) in Kent in 1911

Married Miss Edith Valentine at Dover in Kent in 1912

Enlisted at Hounslow in 1914 whilst living at 2 Clifton Villas, Wellington Road, Teddington

Sergeant (8867) with Royal Berkshire Regiment (Princess Charlotte of Wales's), 1st Battn.

Died of wounds sustained during the Battle of Loos in France on 28th September 1915, aged 24

Buried at Chocques Military Cemetery, Departement du Pas-de-Calais, France (Grave Ref. I.E.92)

Listed on the Hampton Hill War Memorial at St James Church, Hampton Hill
