Eric Walter Poyntz Westmacott

Son of Edgell Edward Westmacott and Marian Charlotte Isabel Westmacott née Gunn-Munro

of Udney Place, Cromwell Road, Teddington

Brother of Richard Innes Edgell Westmacott who was killed on 25th January 1915.

Born 23rd June 1887 at Teddington and baptised at St Mary’s Church, Teddington on 31st July 1887.

Educated at J.Williams-White School for the Navy (Bognor) and H.M.S. Britannia

Midshipman from 30th January 1904 ; Sub-Lieut 30th March 1907 and Lieut 30th January 1909.

Married Dorothy Bentall, daughter of Edmund Ernest Bentall of Kingston, on 6th August 1912.
