	These properties comprise a pair of 3-storey houses with basements (nos. 79 and 81) and two single-storey shops constructed in front of the houses (nos. 79A and 81A). The houses are of yellow stock brick with red brick dressings, and have hipped roofs behind a parapet. The front doors are surmounted by open pediments on consoles and are reached by a flight of stone steps. It is thought that the two shops were built in late Victorian times. The houses and shops were in poor condition by the ~~1980’s~~ but were completely refurbished by the late ~~1980’s~~.
