Lance Corporal (2520) with the Black Watch (Royal Highlanders) "F" Coy. 1st Battn.

Awarded the British War Medal and Victory Medal for service during WW1 (1914-1918)

Died at The Military Hospital, Ranikhet, Uttarakhand, India on 3rd August 1920, aged 22

Buried in Ranikhet New Cemetery, Ranikhet, Uttarakhand, India (Plot B. Row 11. Grave 233)
