Son of Sidney Selmes and Louisa Selmes née Jones of Twickenham

Born about April 1897 at Camberwell, Surrey

Enlisted as Private (4446) with the Middlesex Regiment

Private (7419) with the Royal Fusiliers (London Regiment), 11th Battalion

Killed in action on 8th October 1915, aged 19

Buried at Point 110 Old Military Cemetery, Fricourt, Departement de la Somme, France (Grave G.6)
