William Henry James Ricketts

Son of William and Emily Ricketts

Born April 1877 at Newport, Isle of Wight

Married Kate Amelia Neaves at St Peter's and St Paul's Church, Teddington on 21st February 1898

They lived at 4 Body Cottages, Park Lane, Teddington and had seven children.

Enlisted as Private (10357), Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment), 1st Battn.

Killed in action at France or Flanders on 20th August 1916, aged 39

Listed on the Thiepval Memorial, Departement de la Somme, Picardie, France (Pier and Face 8C 9A and 16A.
