Paul Locock Malton

Son of Rev. William Henry Castell Malton (1859-1945) and Florence Malton née Johnson (1859-1932)

Born in June 1894 at Sneinton, Nottinghamshire, England

Second Lieutenant with the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry, 1st Battn

Taken prisoner in the Merville Sector and whilst a POW in German hands he had a leg amputated.

Died of his wounds on 3rd September 1918, aged 24

Buried at Lille Southern Cemetery, Lille, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France (Grave III C.33)
