Born 3rd February 1896 at Clapham, Surrey

Educated at Teddington Council School

Assistant Butcher of 36 Arlington Road, Teddington in 1911

Enlisted at Hounslow on 3rd Feb 1912 (aged 16 years but registered as 18 years)

Rifleman (10493) with King’s Royal Rifle Corps, 2nd Battn.

Killed in action in France on 17th September 1914, aged 18
