Victor George Hughes

Youngest son of Frederick Thomas Hughes and Emily Hughes of Slade Dairy Farm, Hampton Hill, Middlesex

Born 8th August 1899 at Teddington, Middlesex

Employed at Fulwell Tram Depot

Enlisted in 1917 as Private (48865) with the Northamptonshire Regiment, 1st Battalion

Killed in action in France on 24th September 1918, aged 19

Listed on the Vis-en-Artois Memorial at the Vis-en-Artois British Cemetery, Haucourt, Departement du Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France (Panel 7)
