From the notes by Misses R. & S. Sanford for the 1973 Teddington Society Survey:
"Detached double fronted red brick large Victorian house. Conservatory to right with large garden alongside. Wide passageway to left of house roofed over with glass. Tall chimneys to left & right of roof, roof decorated with small ornamental iron railing. To the left on the ground floor 2 tallish sash windows with ornamental wooden sun-blind frames; & the porched front door up step, now with modern glass enclosure door; type of fanlight above with ornamental wooden frame like the windows. Above are 2 smaller sash windows with still smaller windows over the porch. The right front extends forward from the left under a gable; in the upper storey tall windows extend nearly up into the gable, with 3 even taller windows on the ground floor."
