Children enjoying Strawberry Woods

Which is your favourite Council-run park in Teddington – big or small? Udney Hall Gardens, perhaps, or Radnor Gardens? Maybe the tiny but delightful Alpha Road Gardens – or, for the children, Strawberry Woods or the Church Road play area.

Whichever your park – and there are at least 10 in the Teddington area – Richmond Council are keen to hear from you. They’re running a Parks Satisfaction Survey right now, so they can assess overall satisfaction and, just as important, highlight any area for improvement. The survey takes place every two years and is open until 11th November.

“It will provide us with an understanding of what residents would like to see” say the Council, “which in turn informs spending on park improvements to reflect the views and lifestyle choices of local residents, current and potential park users.”

You can have your say now by going online to the Council website

Please note that this is a survey about parks and open spaces run by Richmond Council – so it doesn’t include Bushy or Richmond Parks which are, of course, Royal parks.
